One quick thought from the Apology, but a helpful reminder.

Hebrews 9:11-15

Chapter 9 is included in an editorial insert in Apology of the Augsburg Confession, Article 13: The Number and Use of the Sacraments (AP 13.10) as a citation for the argument that Christians do not have a priesthood because we do not offer sacrifice. Rather, those who are ordained are called "to preach the gospel and to administer the sacraments" (AP 13.9).
